The space.

One house, on Main Street, built to be lived in. The rooms are the size rooms are meant to be, which is why a table in the middle of one looks right before anyone arranges anything.

Below is everything practical we can tell you. Where something is marked, it is because we would rather leave a gap than guess.

The main room at 403 Main set for twelve: a long table in gold Chiavari chairs, a black brick fireplace and a chandelier.

How many, and where they sit.

Move the slider. The room redraws so you can see what your number actually looks like in it, rather than reading a capacity figure and guessing.

The practical answers.

Everything below is also on one page: 403 Main at a glance.

The room
The main room is 19 × 30 feet, with a craftsman built-in bookcase, a fireplace and built-in banquette seating.
Seated capacity
36 banquet-style in the main room. Open houses, theater-style seating and more fluid events can hold more — tell us your number and we will talk it through.
Outdoors
The backyard has been completely redone and is open for bookings. Ask us about using it for your gathering.
Rental blocks
Weekends: a half day runs 9am to 2pm or 4pm to 9pm, and a full day runs 9am to 9pm. Weekdays: hourly rentals, and 3-hour partial rentals. Additional hours are $75 each.
Setup
Your tables and chairs are set up and ready for the day of your event, and our staff take them down afterwards.
Included
Four 6-ft banquet tables (6–8 guests each), six 8-ft banquet tables (8–10 each), six 40-inch rounds (4 each), two 4 × 2-ft tables (4 each), four 24-inch high-top cocktail tables, and 65 gold Chiavari chairs for indoor use.
Food
Bring your own food, use a licensed and insured caterer of your choice, or use 403 Main catering. With our catering, the final guest count is due two weeks ahead and payment in full one week ahead.
Kitchen
An end-prep kitchen: a double refrigerator, a glass cooktop with stove, a microwave and a pot filler. The gas cooktop is not included. You or your caterer handle clean-up and trash.
Alcohol
403 Main does not hold a liquor license. You may stock your own bar and hire a licensed bartender; a cash bar needs a bartender with a liquor license. A signed waiver holding 403 Main LLC harmless is required. No one under 21 may be served, and no shots.
Parking
In the driveway, with overflow next door in the church parking lot or along Main Street.
Accessibility
Guests can be dropped off at the sidewalk out front. A large ramp leads up to the house and a short ramp takes you inside. The main room, kitchen and restroom are wheelchair accessible.
Clean-up
We take down tables and chairs, launder the linens and do the final clean. During your event, you or your caterer clear tables and take out trash; before you leave, rinse serving ware or load the dishwasher, sweep, and collect your décor. A clean-up service is available at extra cost.
Deposit & cancellation
A $100 retainer holds your date and time and is applied to the balance of your package. Cancel more than 60 days before your event and it is refunded; within 60 days it is not. If life happens, we will do our best to work with you on another date. Extra cleaning or damage is charged separately. Your booking agreement sets the full terms.

We would rather show you the gaps than fill them with something that turns out not to be true on the day.
